ADF AIRWAYS 737-800 NEXT GENERATION JET CHECKOUT.

DEADLINE FOR RECEIPT OF YOUR APPLICATION OCTOBER 5th, 2018.

Presented at the FL Goldcoast Scholarship and Holiday Brunch on December 9th, 2018

Applicants must have an Instrument Rating and able to attend the ground school and SIM training. 

The ADF Airways 737-800 Next Generation Jet Checkout will be a two week 737 system ground school and 16 hours in the non-motion, full graphics simulator course held at Tamiami Airport, ADF Airways flight school, Florida. The course prepares student for a type rating or job interview, using airline crew concept, crew resource management, two crew checklists, emergency and normal procedures.

Although not an FAA Type Rating, this Jet Checkout will follow the Commercial Airline Type Rating program in the non-motion simulator with Commercial Airline standard Visuals, Checklists and Procedures.

All applications will be independently reviewed by our FL Goldcoast 99s Scholarship Selection Committee and Award presented in person at the 99s FL Goldcoast Chapter, Scholarship Award and Holiday Celebration Luncheon, Sunday, December 9th, at the Great House Restaurant, Quayside Towers, North Miami, between 11 am and 3 pm.

Goldcoast Chapter members are proud to see how scholarships have assisted many women pilots move to the next level of their dreams in aviation.  The Goldcoast Chapter was the first 99s Chapter chartered in Florida in 1940. Florida now has nine Chapters for the 99s throughout Florida. The FL Goldcoast 99s work hard to support women pilots in Florida. Close to Fifty thousand dollars has been awarded from our Scholarship, since 1982.

FRAN SARGENT SCHOLARSHIP

TWO awards for $3000 each to be used for an FAA certificate or rating, college program or other worthwhile aviation endeavor. 

It is open to any woman with at least a private pilot certificate who is a resident of Florida or currently enrolled in an aviation training program in Florida.
